Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 250 gm paneer (crumbled)
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 capsicum (chopped)
  • 2-3 green chilies (slit or chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter or oil
  • Fresh cilantro (coriander) leaves for garnish

How To Cook:

Step 1: Temper the Basics
In a pan, heat butter or oil over medium flame. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter to release their aroma.

Toss in chopped onions, green chilies, and capsicum. Sauté until the onions are golden and the capsicum slightly softened.

Step 2: Add the Spices & Tomatoes
Mix in chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Cook this masala until the tomatoes break down and blend smoothly.

Step 3: Time for the Paneer
Add salt and crumbled paneer. Stir well to combine, then sprinkle garam masala. Let it cook for 3–5 minutes, gently mashing the paneer to your desired texture.

Step 4: Finish with Freshness
Turn off the heat and garnish with fresh cilantro. The aroma will tell you—it’s ready!
